Abstract

We offer the study and transcription of a letter, of which until now there was no news, addressed by Argote de Molina to the assistant and mayor of Seville around 1588. In it, he gave an account of his work as captain of the Santa Hermandad, pursuing and arresting robbers, and requested material aid.
